School of Journalism and Mass Communication encourages its students, faculty members and staff to embrace a culture of lifelong creativity and innovative learning to become responsive to the dynamics and the changing realities of the industry and the global community. The programme strives to encourage intellectual inquisitiveness, imagination, coherent thinking, thoughtful expression, and independent learning – skills necessary for success in all mass communication fields. Enhanced by the expertise of our multifaceted teaching and non-teaching members, we endow our students with effectual techniques to surmount intellectual leadership and creative freedom in their academics and professional lives. There is a specific cell to encourage the students’ writing skills through Satyam Writing Club. Any students from any stream can be a member of this club by submitting a registration form. The program provides students’ a well‐rounded media‐oriented experience which offer students to create an area of specialization in the different areas of Journalism & Mass Communication. Our mission is to create academically and culturally diverse student population, productive regional and global citizens in the world of Media Education, who are well aware of their innate individual talents, creativity and power of imagination.
