Financial assistance for economically weaker students is available for students pursuing:
- B.A. (Mass Communication)
- M.A. (Mass Communication & Journalism)
Support may cover tuition fees, hostel charges, and academic expenses based on eligibility and institutional norms.
Eligibility Criteria (General)
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen
- Must have completed requisite academic qualifications from a recognized board/university
- Admission may be based on entrance test, merit, or institutional selection process
- For M.A., a graduation degree in any discipline is required
SCHOLARSHIP
Satyam School of Journalism & Mass Communication is committed to promoting
equitable access to quality education by offering a range of scholarships and
financial support schemes for deserving and eligible students.
- Merit-Based Scholarship:
Students who secured 85% and above in their last qualifying examinations are
eligible for a scholarship of up to 10% for the first-year fee, except university fee.
- Sibling Scholarship:
A scholarship of 10% is extended to the younger sibling of a currently enrolled
student, in recognition of continued trust in the institution.
- Staff Scholarship:
Children of staff members are eligible for a 10% scholarship as part of the institution’s
commitment to its academic community.
- Defence Scholarship:
Students belonging to defence personal are eligible for a 10% scholarship,
acknowledging their contribution to national service.
- Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme:
Eligible students may avail financial assistance under this government-supported
scheme to facilitate access to higher education.
- West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme:
Students meeting the eligibility criteria can benefit from financial support under this
initiative for pursuing higher studies.
