AV Editing Lab
The AV Editing Lab is equipped with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Nuendo, and Sony Sound Forge, enabling students to gain practical experience in video and audio post-production. The lab provides hands-on training in non-linear editing, visual effects, sound design, and digital content creation, preparing students for professional media production.
Internet Radio
RadioVOG – "The Voice of Girls" is SSJMC's internet radio station that offers students practical exposure to radio broadcasting. Students actively participate in scripting, recording, editing, producing, and presenting programmes, helping them develop communication, production, and broadcasting skills in a real-world learning environment.
Cameras
The department is equipped with the latest digital cameras for studio production, outdoor shooting, and still photography. Students receive practical training in camera handling, composition, lighting, framing, and visual storytelling, enabling them to develop technical expertise and creative skills required in the media industry.
Language Lab
The Language Lab is designed to strengthen students' communication and listening skills through modern learning tools and interactive sessions. It provides an ideal environment for improving speech, pronunciation, presentation, and overall communication abilities, while also supporting media production and content creation activities.

The SSJMC library offers an extensive collection of books, journals, newspapers, magazines, visual resources, and digital reference materials from India and abroad. Its collection is regularly updated to support academic learning, research, and professional development, providing students with access to valuable information resources.
Canteen
The college canteen provides hygienic and nutritious meals along with a variety of snacks at affordable prices. Designed to accommodate around 50 students at a time, it offers a clean and comfortable space where students can relax, interact, and enjoy refreshments during academic hours.

Ssjmc Hostel
SSJMC provides safe, comfortable, and well-maintained hostel accommodation for girls in a secure and supportive environment. The hostel features furnished, air-conditioned rooms with attached washrooms, adequate ventilation, and ample natural lighting. Students also have access to Wi-Fi, 24×7 power supply and security, laundry services, a common room with TV and DTH connection, newspapers and magazines, lush green lawns, indoor games, and courts for volleyball, basketball, and badminton. Managed by dedicated hostel staff and a resident warden, the hostel offers a home-like atmosphere.
